Item barcodes: register, record and review stock
Map a barcode to an ERPClaw stock item and use the scanned stock-entry and count actions to prepare reviewed drafts.
add-item-barcode maps a barcode to an active stock item within a company. The action rejects duplicate company barcodes and barcodes with surrounding spaces or control characters.
Choose the correct stock path
The barcode actions covered here are for stock items without batch or serial tracking. Use the normal tracked-stock workflow for batch or serial items.
Prepare a movement
add-scanned-stock-entry takes barcode, quantity and warehouse details to create a receipt, issue or transfer draft. Check the item, quantity and warehouses before submitting with submit-stock-entry.
Prepare a count
add-scanned-stock-count creates a physical stock-count draft from barcode and warehouse inputs. Review the count before using submit-stock-reconciliation.
These actions check that the barcode and warehouse belong to the selected company. Keep the company and warehouse explicit when recording a movement or count.
